In today’s episode, I’m doing something a little different and flying solo, no guest, just me!
I wanted to talk to you about my journey becoming a published author because it’s a question I get asked a lot as it’s a common dream for many and I want to help you make your dreams come true!
One thing you’ll notice quickly about me is that English is my second language. I grew up in a small town in Greece and started learning to speak English around the age of 13. At that time if you had told me that one day I would be a published author in English I would have laughed at you!
I walk you through my journey learning English and gaining confidence and how my loss started me on my path to writing. It started as me writing in my journal for myself and eventually evolved into writing for others, first on Facebook, then as a blog and eventually a book! I truly believe that when you start writing for yourself, you are writing for the world.
“When you write for yourself you write for the world”
” ~ Christina Rasmussen
I want you to know that if you dream of becoming an author there is nothing standing in your way except the belief that it’s possible. If I can do it, so can you. You just need to start!
I’d love to hear what you think of this episode and if writing is a dream of yours too! Be sure to comment below or connect with me on Instagram to tell me all about it.
