I hope you enjoy this episode. It’s not the usual structure of my podcast because this interview was taken from my HSC workshop I currently conducted for singers sitting for their High School Certificate here in Sydney.
Jennifer Paige was our guest speaker where she spoke about her Music Mindset experience.
I met Jennifer in 2013 when I travelled to LA with some of my One Voice students who sang at the major theme parks in LA. We met through a mutual course we were doing and She had invited me to her gig. As soon as we landed in LA my uncle took us for lunch at Sizzler then I asked him if he wouldn’t mind driving us to her gig.
It took us 45mins and we found the venue. It was set outdoors in a kind of home and garden franchise, where they served hot chocolate so that was a fun adventure listening to her sing Christmas tunes and entertaining the crowd.
We kept in touch ever since.
Jennifer Paige was the singer of the hit Crush. It’s one of those go to songs you needed to have in your repertoire as a cover band singer.
