The skins are preserved, displayed, and auctioned as works of art with values based on the victim's status, wealth, or beauty. When a meeting goes bad and a buyer is killed, pressure from the organization forces the usually-methodical Flesher to take reckless actions that lead to a paranoia he can't escape.
