Author Laura Moe, a former high school librarian and English teacher, discusses her unintentional series of young adult novels. She is the author of the award-winning novel, Breakfast with Neruda. When the characters from her first book wouldn’t stop showing up and feeding her storylines, Laura became convinced she had to continue to write their stories. Her two latest books, both released in 2019, continue the storyline from her first book and are titled, Blue Valentines and The Language of the Son.
