In today’s episode, I’m speaking with Albert Flynn DeSilver an amazing poet, memoirist, novelist, teacher, and speaker. He is an extraordinary soul who has been able to translate his own pain, grief, sorrow, confusion and hard times during his childhood to beautiful words and poetry.
He is one of the most gentle souls I have come across during my podcasting journey. He is sensitive and wonderful to speak to. The way that he expresses his own story I felt this healing coming over me and I’m certain you will feel it too.
There is a softness about him even when he is describing moments of violence and pain.
He has found a way to his own healing even though it’s still happening, his progress and his path has been a transformational journey that I believe will change your life. We talk about his path to healing and forgiveness from childhood abuse and recovering from alcoholism.
His sense of story is so visual and physical, in everything he said I was able to see very clearly his story through his own eyes as if I was there. I hope you do too.
“Every experience is given to us and there is a Divine purpose behind it.”
~Albert Flynn DeSilver
