Award-winning author Donna Meredith discusses her latest novel, Buried Seeds. It is the story of two women, a century apart, who come to realize that advocating for causes they believe in often comes with great personal sacrifice. In 2017, one woman takes over as president of the local teacher’s union, while in 1903 her great-great-grandmother joins the women’s suffrage movement. Buried Seeds, as with all of her books, contains strong yet flawed heroines who find courage and, in turn, find themselves.
