Tim and Renee discuss the notion of adding cellular capabilities to digital SLRs, as something of a follow-up to last week's discussion of mobile phones seemingly replacing the compact camera market. They then discuss the questions and answers from the Ask Tim Grey eNewsletter for the week of February 24-28, 2014. This includes questions about converting to 8-bit per channel mode after finalizing images in order to reduce storage capacity needs, the benefits of 16-bit per channel mode, converting to sRGB for sharing images online, a gauge for proper viewing angle on a laptop, and a flat folder structure for image management.
