George D. Zgourides, M.D., Psy.D., is a board-certified family physician, licensed clinical psychologist, author, and composer with a whole-person approach to wellness and the complexities of modern life. Having earned advanced degrees in medicine, psychology, theology, and music, Dr. Zgourides is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine with many years of experience in education, primary care, and sexual medicine. He enjoys being a guest on radio and television and has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal This Morning, NPR, CBS, and many other media outlets. He also holds active memberships in the American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Academy of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association, Texas Urological Society, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, International Society for Sexual Medicine, American Association of Integrative Medicine, and Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Zgourides has written extensively on optimizing health through integrating medicine and psychology with an emphasis on evidence-based lifestyle solutions, including his textbook, Human Sexuality: Contemporary Perspectives (HarperCollins), as well as recently updated second editions of three of his books, Stop Feeling Tired!, Stop Worrying About Your Health!, and Don't Let Them Psych You Out!
