When it comes to Bay Area sports, there is nobody with a better perspective on it -- and ability to share it --than long-time journalist Ray Ratto. In a noteworthy upset, Ratto, quietly bordering on icon status in and around San Francisco, joined Castaneda and Steinmetz in The Shed, and delivered us his A-game.
Ratto went in depth on a variety of topics, including the Golden State Warriors' title chances, the three things owner Joe Lacob would do differently, what's most important to the 49ers' franchise, questioning Oakland mayor Libby Schaaf's influence on the A's and Raiders' futures, his basketball officiating past and so much more.
Take a listen: the man's a savant, but not in a "Rainman" kind of way, if you know what we mean.
If you're listening on I-Tunes, don't be afraid to show the podcast some love and give us a nice, little rating. We're so appreciative of the support.
