After taking a week off for the birth of daughter No. 2, Sal Castaneda, along with Matt Steinmetz, jumps right back into it -- and what a crazy few days it's been on the Bay Area sports scene. This is "Summer of George" type stuff. What's up is down, what's down is up.
The storied 49ers seem to be crumbling before our eyes, while the Warriors are ascending to the top of the NBA hierarchy. Jim Harbaugh, Patrick Willis, Frank Gore and Justin Smith are gone, and nobody seems to like it except Jed York.
The Warriors have a different kind of problem -- they might be getting too good for their own good. Castaneda and Steinmetz discuss whether the Warriors are getting a little too full of themselves, a little too arrogant. USA Today's Sam Amick called the Warriors "borderline cocky," and, in reality, that's probably not far enough.
With baseball in the air, Castaneda and Steinmetz challenge anyone out there with the nerve to criticize Brian Sabean or Billy Beane.
