In this archived episode of Radio Art Center, the Des Moines Art Center's Director of Marketing and PR Christine Doolittle talks with Curator of Prints and Drawings Amy N. Worthen about an important figure in the Art Center's history.
Louise Rosenfield Noun was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1908, and was a major supporter of the Des Moines Art Center for many years. Her work in the women's rights movement as well as her enthusiasm for the organization that would later become the Des Moines Art Center makes her a vital part of Iowa's collective history. Today, her legacy lives on through the Art Center's Louise Noun Collection of Art by Women.
