Just as often as single women are asked, "Why are you still single?," childless women of a certain age (regardless of marital status) are frequently asked about when they will have children. There seems to be a societal norm and attitude that women SHOULD bear at least one child by a certain age. Sometimes they are pressed even after having one child, to have more. But: What if you are childless by choice, enjoying your life with no one else to answer to? What if you have tried to get pregnant or adopt, without success? What if you're just annoyed by the nerve of someone asking such a personal question (sometimes with judgment)?
In this episode, I interview Tangie Henry, RN, Certified Life Coach and Certified Personal Trainer, Founder, Inspired Sistah LLC and she gives her personal testimony about being childless by choice.
