Organic farming has become a $35 billion dollar industry in the United States. In the past 15 years, organic farming has gone from 2 million acres to 5.4 million acres. There is a rigorous process in order for a farmer to have the label “USDA Certified Organic.” Lydia Henshaw is with us today to discuss the process of certified organic and farmers.
