To lose weight, you have to eat fewer calories than you burn.
When people start counting calories to get leaner, however, they often don’t lose fat.
So what’s the problem?
If calories really mattered, why doesn’t everyone lose weight when they track calories?
Usually, it’s a problem of “calorie awareness.” People don’t understand how many calories are in different foods, so when they track it’s not accurate. Not even close.
At first, everyone sucks at tracking how much they eat and how many calories they burn. But over time, with practice, you can get much better. Eventually, you’ll be able to accurately track your calorie intake, or even lose weight without tracking calories.
In this episode, you’ll learn how people usually screw up calorie counting and how you can do better.
