What can you do to lower your winter heating bills?
Today’s lesson discusses 5 winter prep tips
1. Add more attic insulation, you should have about 18 inches
2. Install a frost-free hose bibb to prevent pipes from freezing
3. Consider Roxul insulation for walls if you have them open for remodeling
4. Apply Great Stuff expanding foam to gaps and cracks along outside walls or pipes
5. Use Frost King outlet sealers to prevent drafts from outlets and switches on exterior walls
Just doing one or two of these tips could make a serious dent in your heating bill.
