WYC 054 – Youth Soccer - Chris Stricker - Changing the Culture and Winning 2 State titles
Today’s guest is Chris Stricker. This is a really fun interview because Chris and I have actually have known each other since our college days at Ohio State. Chris has gone on from there to leave Texas powerhouse Coppell high school to 17 straight years in the playoffs and won the Texas 5A championship twice, including most recently this past year. Chris is constantly giving back to the game and has several very successful summer camps he runs as well..
One huge idea I took from Chris was in the 1st quarter when he shares the 4 pillars he built his program around. Another huge idea Chris shared was in the 2nd half when he talked about the importance of having your best players be your hardest workers. I hope you enjoy his insights and stories!
