Michael has written several books to include the cycling books The Hour, and Faster, The Obession, Science and Luck behind the world’s fastest cyclists. On September 12, 2015, Molly Shaffer Van Houweling will try for the outright UCI Women’s Hour record at the Velodromo Bicentenario in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
