BIOGRAPHY
Hey all, my name is Harry and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself.
I’ve been aspiring to kick off this entrepreneurial thing for years now. After several false starts I was able to get my first mobile app built in late 2012 (which you can check out here). But needless to say, it was no ‘Flappy Bird’. Which is OK, because electronic music is one of my passions, having been a DJ for 20+ years. One important takeaway is to work on things you’re passionate about, because it will definitely get you through the highs and lows.
Fast forward to early 2014, and via an ah-ha moment I experienced at New Media Expo, I had the desire to start up a podcast. Although it seemed a bit meta, and straight out of Being John Malkovich, I thought, “Hey, how about a podcast about my love of podcasts and people who are on the same page as me?” It seemed like an inspiring enough idea so I moved forward.
It’s been a whirlwind of activity and I’ve learned a ton. I continue to line up interviews and am putting together some great processes that are saving me a ton of time during the production stage. It’s the part that’s eating up the most time, so I’ve got to put my OCD hat on and see where I can work smarter.
