In this episode I discuss why the Secret Service is such a mess. Government-enforced bureaucratic inertia and risk-aversion, combined with an intense focus on faux-diversity measures are putting the life of the President at risk. I also address the New York Times’ hypocritical efforts to defend the Obamacare insurance company bailout program while, historically, attacking the failed TARP bailout using different language. The final “sticky notes” story is a discussion of the left’s misleading use of Keynesian economics to defend their tax and spend programs. The core topic of the show is a breakdown of Adam Gopnik’s incredibly disingenuous, and misleading, piece about gun control. Gopnik either doesn’t understand basic statistical analysis, or he does, and is lying about the data.
