Daniel gives his view on the growing divide between what conservative voters in the grassroots want and what the GOP Elites in Washington actually do while in congress. He highlights the problems in the recent Omnibus spending bill, using examples to show that Paul Ryan is just like Boehner – promises made to conservatives, but the end result is capitulation to the Obama Agenda. The Marco Rubio vs. Ted Cruz immigration and foreign policy debate is illustrative of how there are two sides to the Republican Party. One is fairly conservative, while the other is focused on “governing” which looks a whole lot like aiding-and-abetting the Obama Administration.
