Penny Dreadful 301 "The Day Tennyson Died"

The day we've all (well maybe except Lord Tennyson) been waiting for has finally arrived! Season 3 is here and boy oh boy did it come in firing on all cylinders. Ives is in Murray Manor doing her best impression of an early 2000's emo teen, Sir Malcolm is in Africa, Ethan is in chains on a train, and Frankenstein has reunited with an old friend. If all of that weren't fantastic enough this episode also drops a huuuuge bombshell as it cuts to black.
