I've talked often of hearing, listening, and feeling the Voice.
Let me make something very clear; the Voice is an action-based experience. The Voice knows whether you're asking out of curiosity or if you're sincere about taking action and following through.
You will not be prompted if you're not willing to be nudged forward.
If you have no intention of taking action, STOP ASKING.
If you're willing to listen to your inner compass, than you're ready to take that feeling that you get (which is what I call the Voice) and act on it.
Have you ever gotten these sudden stroke of ideas or very clear thoughts combined with feelings to go and do? That's the Voice my friend.
I want you to experience the safety, power and guidance of the Voice, being moved and influenced forward that eternal expansion in making a difference in other people's lives.
I always saw myself as somebody that could make a difference in other people's lives, but it required making a move. Literally. I ended up moving from Utah to California, taking a leap of faith because I was listening to the Voice, and it's what I did.
I took action immediately, and continually asked God, "If this is what I'm supposed to do, I'm ready."
Because I was very clear about what I wanted to do, I found a house after weeks of searching, knowing immediately that it was the right one.
God honors that which we desire, but sometimes there are things that are far greater than we can even imagine. The Voice propels us forward and provides a way.
There have also been times that the Voice has told me what NOT to do, telling me through feelings "Do not do this."
When I don't listen, I suffer the consequences.
There are times when you KNOW that you need certain people in your life, surrounding yourself with a certain environment.
20 years ago I came home from serving a church mission, and I put speakers in my car, ignoring the Voice telling me not to do it, and a week later, I came out to my car and found extensive damage to my car after the speakers and hundreds of CDs were stolen out from my car.
When I'm clear and confident in listening to the Voice, I'm protected.
