CPOTD co-hosts Ken and Jim attended Philadelphia Wizard World 2016 over the weekend, and we return with creator interviews!
Jim kicks things off talking to Tom Cook, an animator/director behind some of your favorite Saturday morning offerings including Thundarr The Barbarian, Scooby-Doo, and He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe! Tom has also contributed animation work to legendary cartoon feature films such as Who Framed Roger Rabit and Thumbelina!
Ken pulled some strings and followed up with an exclusive interview with none other than Ming Chen, star of AMC's Comic Book Men! Ming wasn't at the con as a guest, so I guess it helps to have friends in the industry. Ming is no stranger to podcasting either, as co-host of I sell Comics and the Ming And Mike podcasts. Ken talks with Ming about his experience at Wizard World, how he got into the business of Kevin Smith's business, and his opinions on some of the latest comics tv.
Jim's turn again, and he sits down with comics art legend and jack-of-all-trades Guy Dorian, Sr.! Guy gives us the skinny on PKMM entertainment, his new title COR, his work with legendary artists like Sal Buscema and Herb Trimpe, promotional art he created for X-Men Apocalypse, and his own formula for success, for anyone willing to listen!
...and Ken rounds it off nicely talking to GW Fisher, inker and artist for Image comics and official Marvel licensed apparel!
