Jonathan Azu the creator of ShadesOfPerspective.com and is on a journey to help people master the inner game to become the best versions of themselves. Jonathan was born in Canada, but his cultural background is Nigerian, where your name has a lot of meaning in regards to astrology and what your life path will be. He shares that the name “Azu” refers to wisdom acquired from your past. He considers himself as a student of the path of life, and shares the experience of hat he’s learned with other people he encounters. “You help bring them to a point where they can look at themselves and look at all the pieces of themselves that have led to where they are” He encourages people to get into shadow work, which involves looking inside one self in terms of past experience and what’s in the subconscious mind. “Once we begin to look within, we begin to start conquering our own inner demons” Jonathan helps people do this through communication, and the probing questions he asks results in the discovery of patterns in his clients’ lives. This will get them in the habit of self-inquiry, where they will start to ask themselves the right questions. “It’s about giving them the tools to be their own guru” He notes that a lot of insecurity people have ties back to fear: legitimate fears or ego-based ones such as fear of rejection. “Once your realize that there’s really nothing to be afraid of, you can begin to live your life more effortlessly” Jonathan has had experiences where he has worried about what other people thought of him. “I reached a point where I realized that I just needed to be myself” He says that as long as your intentions are pure, your personality is going to be a filter for the right people to come into your life. He feels that the age of 30 is that of wisdom, and the decade where most people come into their own.
