Dr. Walter Tschinkel is a renowned entomologist and a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Florida State University. His main research focused on ants, but he's done some research into the correlation between poverty and achievement by using the statewide performance data reported by each school. He found that poverty was a huge factor into determining performance and he shares his process and findings with Carole.
