This week we start a new series on post-apocoliptic art, mainly we will focus on the AMC raving TV series: The Walking Dead. But before we really dive into the show we start off by looking at some key ideas about zombies and post-apocoliptic art.
We read a handful of poems along with some quotes from Alissa Wilkinson and Robert Joustra's new book: How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse: Zombies, Cylons, Faith, and Politics at the End of the World that really tackle the essence of what we will be covering in this month's series.
