In this episode, we welcome back a past guest of The Wellness Show, Dr. Laurie Moore (Episode 075). Laurie is a human and animal reader who has a therapy license and graduate psychology teacher background. She assists with cross overs and is the author of The Cat’s Reincarnation: Transformative Encounters with Animals and Healing and Awakening the Heart: Animal Wisdom for Humans. She has appeared on BATGAP, NBC, CBS, CNN.com, Species Link and John Burgos. Laurie has always had a very strong resonance with animals and prevalent communication skills. These strong ties have changed her view of the world. She has always been able to listen with her heart, and being born with this gift she feels it stems from ancestral lines from long ago. “I came to make bridges between people and other realms.” Being an intuitive, Laurie received her Ph.D. to respect a balance between logic and intuition. “I’m not interested in philosophies that don’t look into science and I’m not interested in sciences that does not look into the subjectivity of everything.” Laurie says if we can slow down and start listening to how the animals interact with life then we will find our way to universal heart and compassion. As Laurie has spoken to over hundreds and hundreds of animals, she explains that she communicates through the universal heart that is in a state of unconditional love. When communicating with the animals, your human energy has to match the animals in order to hear what they are saying. She shares that when people ask her to teach them how to communicate with the animals, the first step is sending them back to gratitude. This makes you drop into your heart and then you can be present in a different trance. “When you drop into your heart the mind becomes a servant of the heart instead of vise versa and the perspective of the unconditional love can begin to operate through you.” Laurie was asked if we project emotions on to the animals when communicating with them, and she explains that it is not an emotional-based realm. Animals experience all emotions, but they experience it with eternal bliss not focusing on what feels good or what feels bad.
