This was a particularly boring FA Cup Third Round as more or less all the big boys went through, but not without a few stories attached. Wayne Rooney equalled the goal-scoring record of Sir Bobby Charlton as Man United stuck four past Reading. Bournemouth were one of the few Premier League sides that were truly crushed by minnows as Eddie Howe decided to field a very weakened side. But more importantly than all that, Dan Murphy's Colls were victorious in the FA Vase.
As well as that, the world team of the year was announced and FIFA has expanded the World Cup in 2026 to include 48 teams which has divided The Huddle.
All this plus Getting Bling With The Football Huddle where we're starting to question this new way of doing things.
