This week we have on our one and only Assistant to the Podcast Hosts Paul Lytle. He joins us as we talk about what Eucatastrophe is and how that fits into the Christian meta-narrative we have been covering in this series on LOTR.
As we dive into the last portion of the meta-narrative, the Consummation portion, we start of with the idea and word Tolkien himself made up: Eucatastrophe. This idea is the turning point in a story from where things look hopeless and at an end to a hope and victory.
As we talk about the Eucatastrophe in LOTR we all take turns talking about what point we like that reflects this idea best to us.
Hope you enjoyed the show and share us if you did!
