It seems Tad is much more of a dork than previously expected. Tad's car is delayed, in part because good ole Tad seems to be quietly trying to a "build thread" on some Subaru forums and won't proceed without... wait for it... pictures. I can't even imagine why, but this whole thing is gonna haunt em for a while.
Tom was away last week at the UAE Custom show, and we don't think everyone realizes this area of the world is going car crazy. The Custom Show is getting bigger and bigger every year. Tom is involved with an engine building and tuning challenge that is a big part of the show. We realize not everyone can get there, but if you are planning a trip it would really be a cool place to go.
The DragWeeker theme continues this week with Matt Blasco. Matt is old school Chrysler guy, but with some very interesting twists. Matt is a IT guy by trade and he put his skills to good use. His 1973 Dart actually runs "CAN bus" for the vehicle functions. He runs a Mega Squirt system, and uses it functions to the fullest. (listen to the fuel pump system) Matt knows quite a few guys in this industry that took interest in his car, and he is going to put us in touch with some DragWeek loyal vendors. Matt's a great guy, and we all look forward to meeting him in person.
