Michael Rogers, communications officer for the Small Business Association of Michigan, presents Neil Sheridan, chair of the Entrepreneurship Task Force at the Small Business Association of Michigan, in an excerpt of his recent talk at Capitol Issues Forum on why entrepreneurs are vital to Michigan’s economy and how we stack up to other states in job creation. Sheridan assists federal, state and regional governments with business growth initiatives as CEO of SVPI. He is an instructor for the National Science Foundation on small business innovation research grants and earned an MBA in finance from New York University and a master’s degree in information technology from Kettering University.
