The Visiting Nurse Associations of America, better known as VNAA, has long been one of the pillars of advocacy for care in the home. They’ve felt, however, that the industry overall remains too fragmented to work towards the common goals we all share. This led them to create an entirely new entity, the recently unveiled elevatingHOME, through which they intend to “re-envision healthcare delivery to place home at the center of care.” Gavin and Zac recently attended the kick-off ceremony during the Home Based Care conference in San Diego and spoke with the leadership of both organizations, and the thought leaders who are working to make this vision a reality.
