Colleen shares the prayer, “Greetings to the Natural World”,” the Iroquois Thanksgiving Address, Ohenton Kariwahtekwen. Iroquois elder, Jake Swamp, offered this prayer as a “giveaway,” for the people. We give great thanks for this gift. We also want to give thanks to Deb Scrivens and Terry Kem for bringing this prayer to the Lightsong School of Shamanic Studies community.
Colleen provides a written copy of the prayer on her website as part of her Reiki Gratitude Ceremony. The Gratitude Ceremony is beautiful to offer for holiday dinners and prayers. As a giveaway, the written prayer and ceremony can be adapted to accommodate diverse beliefs and the needs of the gathering.
