Sexual harassment scandals are sweeping through Capitol Hill.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) defended Representative John Conyers (D-MI) over sexual harassment allegations on NBC News' "Meet the Press." During the interview, Pelosi called Conyers an "icon" and emphasized the need for due process to determine the basis of the allegations. Pelosi took to the national TV stage to send a message to fellow Democrats for them not to publically urge Conyers to resign.
