In order to begin the process of identifying and changing what you believe, you must do the following:
1. Change the questions you’re asking.
If you keep asking the same questions, you’re going to keep looking for or creating evidence to support it.
Life isn’t happening to you, but through and for you.
Stop going back to the same questions that brought you here to begin with, OR you won’t grow past it.
2. You can’t keep going back to the past, trying to undo or redo it.
If you keep going back to your history, you’ll keep writing the same script.
3. You must believe it’s possible for you.
Today’s SACRED S.O.L. STORY comes from this morning.
I was working with a coaching client that’s had a pattern of being stuck for several years.
He keeps trying to go back to his past to get questions answered for his future.
Your past is not going to give you answers to your future.
If you look to your past for answers to your future, you’re going to have a future that looks very similar to your past.
Would you be willing to start looking at where you are today to get the answers you need, and make decisions based on where you are now?
Would you be willing to commit to creating the solutions that you desire for your future?
What’s holding you back is that you keep going back.
For my client it’s been the belief that he’s not enough. This is something so many of us suffer from.
The truth is, it’s NOT the truth. And we can either choose to believe the truth and live in freedom, or be stuck in a lie.
He’s felt like he won’t be accepted for who/what he is.
Have you ever felt this way?
We all have at one time or another. However, if you accept you, others will too. And if they don't, it won't matter to you.
Imagine what you could do if you simply believed that YOU ARE…
No more enough or not enough. No more too much or too little.
No more excuses. No more apology.
Do YOU believe that you can?
He said that he believes it’s possible.
When I asked if he believes it’s possible for HIM, he said that he thinks he can do it.
That's nice, but thinking you can isn’t enough.
It isn’t until you KNOW that you can, that you become.
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN?
This is my question for you today.
You’ll only go as far as your beliefs will take you.
If you BELIEVED that you could, and you KNEW that you could…what would you be willing to do?
Please grab your SACRED S.O.L. D.A.T.E. JOURNAL (Daily Action To Engage with yourself.)
Answer this question for yourself: If you BELIEVED that you could, and you KNEW that you could…what would you be willing to do?
Remember, it’s knowledge of the truth that sets us free.
