A new study out of Florida State University reported that loneliness has been linked to dementia. That’s right, loneliness can actually increase dementia risk by forty percent! I don’t know about you, but I’m not a fan of those odds. Dementia can cause memory loss, confusion, and disorientation. It can also be a precursor to Alzheimer’s Disease. Be sure you are connecting with people. Get involved in your community and stay social! After all, it’s keeping your mind young.
