If drinking less or not at all is on your goal list, you may have made the right choice. A new study out of Brown University shows the link between drinking even a few alcoholic beverages and the changes in you genetically. It turns out that alcohol hijacks the memory formation pathway and changes the way neurons express proteins. This is what causes the brain to have craving. It only takes a few drinks drinks to change how memories are formed at the fundamental, molecular level.
