Karen is also a barefoot water skier with a remarkable comeback story, which has led her a quest to barefoot water ski in all 50 states.
In our interview with Karen, we talk about how a water skiing injury activated a dormant gene that caused her to lose her hearing and what led her to eventually find her way back onto the water.
