Today on the podcast is a guest who has been in business for a while now! Normally I interview relatively new entrepreneurs, but she started her first business when she was in her early twenties, and has since expanded into a coaching career, taking what she’s learned from her qualified counseling days and building a multi-million dollar skin care business, to coach female entrepreneurs in creating both a thriving life and business.
Her name is Michelle Kerr and she’s a qualified counsellor, successful entrepreneur and now Business Wellbeing Coach. She is the creator of the platform Wellbeing Weekly, which provides mindset, wellbeing & business tools and support for female entrepreneurs to thrive in their business and life - without sacrificing their wellbeing, relationships or lifestyle.
After building a successful skincare business from side hustle to full time global brand over the past five years with her partner, she knows the highs and lows that can come with entrepreneur life. Struggling to find the resources and support she needed earlier on in her business journey and experiencing burnout, she overhauled her business & life to better align and work on her terms - by combining her counselling and entrepreneurial skills & knowledge, mindset shifts, productivity strategies and more.
She now provides a supportive space for women in health & wellbeing businesses to successfully grow their business in a way that prevents burnout and effortlessly builds their impact, income and ideal lifestyle. She does this through her podcast, free resources and signature group coaching program.
In this interview, Michelle shares some of her best mindset tips and tricks with us and she also shares very openly and vulnerably some of the hardest things she’s experienced as an entrepreneur and how they changed her as a person and businesswoman.
We also talk about the differences between counseling and coaching and why we both love how the coaching industry is changing the world and the way we accomplish our goals.
I know you’re going to love this episode if you’re ambitious but often find yourself getting burnt out, or never feeling satisfied with your accomplishments. This episode is worth a listen if you’re working hard but lose track of the present moment and the joys of actually building a business.
