Deep down (or not so deep down) many people struggle with self worth. If you're "successful", perhaps you feel like a fraud. If you're not "successful", perhaps you feel like you haven't fulfilled your potential.
We often use external queues to verify our own self worth.
Or lack of self worth.
And when we set a goal and don't achieve it, we make it mean we're less worthy.
The feelings of low self esteem and worth show up in our daily lives. Perhaps we turn to food to distract ourselves. Or just feel miserable and stop setting goals which we might not achieve.
But who really gets to decide whether you're "worthy" or not?
