Shanna Challenger is a 24 year-old ecologist and coordinator of the Redonda Restoration Programme. She has been recognized by Caribbean Beat as one of the Top 25 Caribbean Achievers under 25.
As part of her work, she educates people about the importance of the fragile ecosystems in Antigua, Barbuda and our many offshore islands.
In this conversation, Shanna describes her time camping on Redonda, witnessing and co-creating the remarkable rebound in the island's ecosystem, and her personal campaign to raise environmental awareness in our nation.
