Kristin Hodson is a certified sex therapist and mother of three. She has devoted her life to supporting parent, partners and professionals become the sex experts in their own lives and in their family. She teaches human sexuality at a Master’s level, hosts regular workshops in her community and around the country, is regularly sought out as an expert in the media and has an ever growing online community through instagram where she drops daily nuggets of sexual health information and wisdom. Additionally, she is the founder and CEO of The Healing Group, a mental health practice in Utah that specializes in sexual health, maternal mental health and couple’s work.
In this weeks episode, Samantha and Kristin go through different stages/ages of development and Kristin points out the importance of the building blocks of learning in all areas, including sexual health. She focusing on what some important building blocks are from birth through teen years. These nuggets of goodness made me really think and analyze my role as the sex expert in my family with the goal of my children knowing that I am the person they can come to with any question at any time.
