If you’re here, you’re probably waking up right now and feeling like there’s more to life, you want more, but you’re just not sure how or even if you can ever get it.
Don’t fret no more!
You’re not alone. The majority of women and men today are living lives they’ve unconsciously created for themselves, on auto-pilot.
I believe this is what is contributing to the global mental health crisis we’re experiencing today in the Western culture. (see my book ‘Fu
('F*ck Fear: How to Get the Life You Truly Want’)
But it doesn’t have to be this way, and a part of you already knows this otherwise you wouldn’t be here searching for answers and support.
Here are 5 of the most common beliefs that are likely holding you back.
The truth is, these beliefs are no more than just ego fear (if you don’t know what this is see podcast/blog episode 1 and 2).
A belief is just a thought you choose to buy in to it, but here’s a science based fact, your thoughts can be changed in an instant, and therefore so can your beliefs.
This sacred life journey and you’re calling on it isn’t about having all the answers upfront. To take up the call of action to fulfil your purpose, you have to be prepared to trust that through action comes the path is revealed, not the other way around.
3. You believe and convince yourself it's too late to start over again or start a new chapter or adventure.
You have thoughts like “it's too late for me now” “I'm too old I have children” “I don't have the money,” “I'm already so far down the path of this career how can I start something else, I have too many Commitments, too many responsibilities, and too many bills” “That Dream that opportunity has passed me” “I tried before and I failed and it just hurt too much”.
If you have thoughts like the above, then stop now!
I promise you it's never too late to start again, and it's never too late to change your mind.
In fact it's a bullshit societal collective belief that tells you you have to do one thing for the rest of your life, something that you decided on at the age of 16!
This is why you have to be prepared to do the inner work, because social conditioning from school has you believing you can only do one thing, but you can flip that script, and it’s never too late to start.
4. You believe / think you can't live your purpose and make a lot of money .
Honestly, you don't have to choose between what you feel called to do and making enough money to live abundantly, both are possible, but you have to believe it. The truth is, when you’re serving the world and genuinely want to have a greater positive impact on society for the better, the money will flow to support you. This is because you’re in alignment, and fulfilling your purpose.
5.You believe / think you have to do it alone and that getting support is a sign of weakness. If you're the one that used to supporting other people and never asking for anything in return, it can be really difficult to ask for help and support, but this is one of the most beautiful things you can do because it’s an opportunity to make new friends or become part of a new community. When you surround yourself with others who are invested in their growth and expansion it’s the best and most important energy you can surround yourself with. It’s a fact that you become who you surround yourself with so choose wisely and don’t hesitate to immerse yourself in this new community and put your hand up to say ‘I need help’.
I don’t believe in failure just learning, growing and giving up. Those who have a sense of community support are far more likely to succeed because you have a system of support and accountability which helps you follow through and stay consistently aligned with your goal, project and ultimately dream.
Now I’d love to hear from you?
Do you have some or even all of these beliefs?
If so let us know in the comments below what belief you’re going to tackle first, and how you’re going to stay committed to changing it.
