Former undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk issued a one side beating to Chazz Witherspoon last night in Chicago. Usyk who was fighting at heavyweight for the first time seemed content to systematically and methodically take Witherspoon apart with well placed shots all night seemingly never really looking for the stoppage. As a result of fatigue and an accumulation constant punishment from Usyk, who was able to out land him by a considerable margin, Witherspoon retired on his stool after the seventh round ended and was no longer able to continue.
