WBA World Boxing Super Lightweight Champion Regis Prograis squared off last night against IBF World Super Lightweight Champion Josh Taylor in the finals of the World Boxing Super Series Super Lightweight Tournament. It was hotly contested matchup with both men having their moments but Taylor went on a run in the second half of the fight and seemed to pull away late. Prograis finished with a strong twelfth round but it wasn’t enough to get him the victory on the three judge’s scorecards who scored the bout 114-114, 115-113 and 117-112 giving Taylor the victory by majority decision.
