When students in a math class say, "I don't get it," they're usually throwing up a barricade, and a powerful one at that! If you just assume what it is they don't get, and dive in holding their hand, you may realize short-term results, but they still won't "Get It."
In this episode we discuss ways to empower students to move past, "I don't get it," in ways that provide two avenues of resolution. The first, is they themselves will have a clearer understanding of what they don't get, and second, they can communicate it to you.
