Pain is a powerful sensation. It can motivate positive change, but it can also push people past their breaking point. Leaders must always be sensitive to the level of pain they are inflicting on their followers. In this episode, Richard and Sam discuss the importance of recognizing people’s pain thresholds as well as the three primary causes of pain: change, interventions, and conflict.
