Dr. Nicole Rochester is the founder and CEO of Your GPS Doc, LLC, a health advocacy company. Its mission is to educate and empower patients and caregivers so they can effectively navigate the healthcare system.
Nicole is a board-certified physician and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed her pediatrics residency at Children's National Medical Center - George Washington University.
Nicole was inspired to launch her company after caring for her late father. She uses her inside knowledge of the healthcare system to advocate for her clients, overcoming the barriers that interfere with timely, effective, patient-centered medical care.
Nicole is also a nationally recognized speaker, best-selling author, and media expert.
The more I heard Nicole describe what she is doing, the more I believed that this would be a fulfilling career for physicians. It enables navigators to help patients in a meaningful way, but without the hassles of electronic medical records and other annoying aspects of modern medical practice.
