The Asian Spine Journal published something so seemingly unrelated that It needed discussion. Full spine and pelvic x-rays were taken, and thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, pelvic tilt, sacral slope, pelvic incidence, and the sagittal vertical axis (SVA) were measured. The analysis was done using image-analysis software. The results showed that the Sagittal Vertical Axis significantly shifted forward (almost double the amount) in those people with high blood pressure.
