Liberty Fontimayor had a career in corporate hospitality sales and came to the realization that the next step in her career was not really what she wanted. She had something else in mind, although she wasn’t sure what it all would look like and didn’t know right away that it would result in her opening up a brick and mortar boutique, specializing in fun and refined clothing for women.
She walks us through the trial and error that happened before opening Common Coast, and how she changed the course when things weren’t going as planned. She has never given up and has the confidence to trust in herself that she will figure it out as she goes.
Liberty reinforces the importance of just getting started, and not waiting to know HOW you are going to do everything before you take the first step.
This conversation will inspire you to push through your doubts and beliefs that you have to have it all figured out before you get started, and that changing directions and pivoting is part of the journey.
